Sotto Voce

     This short story was completed just before the manuscript was sent off to the printer, and I decided to include it in this book. However, it is only a few pages long, and although I tried to find an excerpt which would properly convey the essence of the story, there was no way to do so without giving everything away. So, I have opted not to include a snippet, as is my usual custom. Instead, it will be a surprise when you read the book. I do hope you will enjoy this story, as well as the others.
